More Grandparents visit!!!

We were VERY fortunate to have so many visitors in November. The week after my parents left, Trents parents came to visit, so we were able to go enjoy the sites some more! Trent's parents were able to make some family visits out of the trip....stopping in Wisconsin to see Rodger's brother and Iowa to see some of Mary's family and lastly, Ohio. Friday evening they arrived...just in time for some warm Clam Choweder (it was a request from Trent since he absolutely loves it). On Saturday we ran down to Amish country to show Rodger the impressive hardware store....Lehmans in Kidron....as well as see some of  the beautiful countryside. Coming from a very brown, dry desert, I can never get enough of the variety of scenery Ohio boasts. It's incredible....and while Trent took his parents and Brenden inside Lehmans, I just drove around town and the surrounding area to look at it all while Kyleigh slept soundly in the back seat.

After dinner, Kyleigh got a little assist in some puzzle solving

While Brenden got to play good ol fashioned catch with Dad and Grandma.

Such a proud moment. Finished her puzzle

As we drove down to Amish to show Mary and Rodger around our side of 'town', we stopped by Smuckers again. Mary was able to find a few things for some of her good friends and neighbors back home.

Amazing.

Interesting.

All the companies that Smuckers owns.

I just liked these sleds and old bike.

And these kids all liked the activity center for toddlers.

After Smuckers, we ran down to The Amish Door for some fine Amish cuisine. Kids were more interested in the small house and play set outside than any type of food they had inside.
So we let them scout the place out and get their energy out since it was back in the car for about 45 min.

A house just his size.

On the way back home, we passed by this poor house. It kinda looked like a controlled burn since they had so many firemen and they were just watching it, not really fighting it. Sure gathered quite a few porch watchers along the road.

Sadly, after this trip, we met Rodger and Mary at Church and they had to take off directly from Church to head 1,770+ miles back home. We were happy to have them for the brief time we spent together. And glad that they made it home safely.

kinda sad we never made it down there for a visit! I always thought we'd have plenty of time to go, but we all know how that turned out! anyway, you are so good at blogging, you are my hero and definitely inspire me :)
