Snake Encounter

The MetroParks around here put on special exhibits and awhile back in early March they did one on snakes. Brought in a couple live ones for the kids to touch. A snake skin that had been shed, and some eggs.
Guess these two didn't like being separated...even if only by one chair.

After the info session, the lady had them color and cut out a paper snake.

They had a bunch of plastic easter eggs hid around the room and the kids had to find them and keep what was inside. Kyleigh got a fabric dinosaur.

The director lady then took everyone on a nature trail to find animal footprints and see specific trees etc. But as you can see the weather wasn't conducive to stomping around outside listening to something that they'll forget once they enter the car. So we stopped to grab some new fallen snow and head home.
