A few of Kyleigh's favorite things...

Kyleigh and I are around when Trent leaves for school (Buddy can sleep till almost 10 some mornings! so Kyleigh and I have a few hours of girl time before we are graced with Brenden's presence). But this particular morning, it was Saturday so Trent didn't leave too early and Buddy was around when Trent left us and left a few marks on his way out. The kids kept begging him to throw more and more.

Maybe she figured out that Queens have more power than Princesses, so she's reading up on how to get the promotion.

Besides reading (which nothing less than 3 books at nap time and bedtime would be accepted), another one of her favorite things to do is play with play-doh. The girl is content for quite awhile if you give her a glob and tell her what to make. Anything from snowmen, ice cream, castles and animals is in her repertoire.
Most of the time Brenden will join in, but Kyleigh is our endurance play-doh player.

She knows there are 3 puzzles in the house. You pull out the first one, and she'll ask you for the second and third one. We are almost at the stage where she can fit them in without direct guidance on how they fit. If you try to sneak in a few pieces on your own, she'll quickly shove hers into place and reach her hand out for the next one, trying to beat you before you place another one without her assistance.

I had her at "Princess party" and she was hooked. Even got her to eat more of her lunch than normal.

Pigs are very warmly welcome at princess parties.
She carries around her blanket and piglet everywhere. And whenever she must drop them to do something else, she usually props Piglet up against the blankets like this...
She's a fun girl to have around. Recently, When Trent, Brenden, Kyleigh and I got to Church, we all stopped at the Chapel doors to find the bench where we would sit. But Kyleigh was in no mood to wait around. She just walked right in, up the aisle and sat next to the first open space on the side pew with another family of 3. After making herself comfortable, she turned around and waved to us to come sit by her. We quickly did and maybe it's not a complete coincidence that the family she chose to sit next to has a little girl in her nursery class. She is forthright and just acts upon what she comes up with. Sometimes it leaves us trailing behind her, trying to catch up.
