Someone can't let go of summer

Sometimes she waits until she is dressed to put her swim suit on and other times she just throws it on over her pjs.
Then comes downstairs and asks me to take her swimming at Bama and Poppy's house. I tell her we can't. They live too far away.
Normally, I'd try to appease her desire by taking her to Trent's university pool...which is actually cool for kids with a lazy river and whirlpool thing....but the change of seasons has brought her down with a nasty head cold and fever (it got into the 30s last night) but she doesn't seem to want to wait for health to improve.
Suit on = let's get in the car, Mom!
