By looking at their wardrobe, you'll know that I am far behind on keeping up with this year's events. I'm hoping to get all of 2013 done before 2013 ends so it can be easily put into the next blog book. (This scrapbook, journal and photo album stuff is so much easier when done digitally).
Crazy kids in an ice cream truck.
A rolling pin type game. Didn't stand at this station too long. Was a lot to do even before leaving the first house.
Kyleigh likes horse drawn wagons...but as long as she is right up close and tight with someone else.
Trent was giving the kids an important and very useful lesson on the different types and purposes of saddles. Western vs English.
B is a wild western rider.
Kyleigh was a more dignified rider trying out the old English ways.
This girl LOVES animals. Would probably bring a sleeping bag and spend the night if we let her.
Like Mother, like son.....
I'm not sure, but i think those are the 'hands' measurement they use for horses. So Kyleigh is 10 hands.
B is 12.5
A whole room of riding gear and labels on it all to help familiarize the clueless city folk.
The barn had a TON of stalls. Again, the kids were loving this.
We happened to be there when the horses were getting their pedicures.
Glad the salons don't use a pair of pliers on me.
If there was space to reach her arm in and touch an animal, she did it.
Yep, my little city girl milked a cow. But her older brother was too scared or not interested and wouldn't do it.
This is about as close as he got.
I have a video of these two cows getting real close and personal with each other.
This calf was born 2 days before we were there. So cool.
My sister Court would call this the death stare from the cow.
Farmer B
We rode the wagon around the park to this spot where he dropped us off and we ran down the field and into a cool corn maze.
I really like when the maze is so tall you can't just peak your head up an Over to get your bearings.
They also had a list of questions to help navigate through the maze.
Luckily, with the able guidance of our intelligent host, we were led aptly through the difficult maze.
