Boston Mills bike trail

Kyleigh got a bike and the proper way to christen it was taking it out on a rural bike trail.
She couldn't wait. Grabbed her helmet, hopped on the bike and took off....right towards a parking lot divider. Trent caught her before she hit it and sorted her out as to the correct bike etiquette when starting off...ie: wait for your leader and the others who will accompany you on said ride.
After she got over herself...we all started on the bike trail.

Soon they were off and she tried to stay ahead...
...But she's only beginning and B had become a complete bike-master by then and soon overtook her.
This trail has a really cool bridge that goes over the freeway and they actually like to go over it.

B is all concentration. Biking is serious, people!!

Surprisingly, she didn't mind the speed on the way down. It scared Trent and I as there were cars on the road to her right and we had to stick by her until she learned more control so that she didn't careen directly into oncoming traffic. But none of those fears were founded and they all had a great time.

She wasn't fast enough to get up the hill and her little legs couldn't quite pump herself up that hill so she got a little 'help'.
She made it. A really great rural ride. Large fields, wood fences and not alot of traffic. Probably could count the number of cars we saw on one hand.

Rode up this trail and already thinks she is a pro...
...And she was pretty handy at getting herself on and started all by herself. Fast learner.

Off she goes!!....

Boys had to hurry and catch up with her....
She gone....
