Kyleigh was especially excited for our aeronautic adventure.
Brenden insisted on pushing the stroller even though he has absolutely no visual.
FAA probably didn't exist during this guy's time. And the poor chump also missed out on complimentary drinks and pretzels. And he probably didn't have to plan an hour+ before departure to go through screening and security. A mere walk-on. Lucky stiff.
Guys admiring the double guns in the tail.
They really tried to make it as life-like and real as possible. A for effort.
This thing was huge!!! I had no idea.
Was obviously not carried by this plane. (And they had several other types of atomic, nuclear, smart and shrike bombs. The atomic ones just kept getting smaller and smaller in size. Computers, cell phones...why not downsize the atomic bomb as technology develops?
Nuclear bomb
A remote control bomb?
And we met a couple celebrities....
Wendover Willie, Tweety Bird, Grim Reaper, and Jolly Roger. Do you have to be the first guy to fly the plane to name it? Or the one who builds the plane?
Genius idea.
No idea...
Good idea..... (for kids. They have a certain day of the week with all kinds of hands on activities and planes to drive around and games to play. Impressive.)
F-16 My cousin has flown one of these. I wonder if the Academy lets their students test out the Mach 2 speed or not.
Brenden kept crashing, so Daddy came to the rescue.
I really enjoyed this aerospace musem. A definite must-go-back.
And all that excitement just wiped the kids out cold once we returned home.
