Baby K

Just some fun photos collected from her first month of life.

B & K conspiring together

One of the many daily naps. She sleeps well in her boppy chair...and with multiple blankets. :) The girl likes to be warm...like her mom and Gma.

Tough girl throwing out some gang signs.
I love how babies get so enthralled and fascinated with their hands and feet. Makes me smile every time I look over and she has her legs stiffly outstretched so she can check out these new appendages.

Her first official outing to Church. This was exciting to bring my own little girl to Church. Yes, it felt a little like playing dress-up cause she was so tiny and I'm so new at this. She was only a week old, so I arrived late to sacrament and left early so that no one would come see her. Just don't think a week old baby needs to be introduced to the ward just yet. The next week we went to all 3 meetings, but with the blanket covering her carseat almost the whole time and her strapped in so that she wouldn't get passed around. Now shes doing great...but did get a little of her brother's runny nose. Sure tried to avoid this, but it was probably inevitable. Guess we'll just have to hold her a little more to keep her upright and prevent the stuff from draining into her ears. Such a difficult job. Someone has to do it.

Baby K testing out her vocals.  She might be speaking before B....

she is so cute! do you have a wrap of sorts to put her in? i absolutely LOVED mine when Mercedes was tiny...and it's also great to keep her upright for that runny nose, but also keep her away from crowds when you go out. alot of people aren't comfortable touching your chest to get a peek! lol I got mine from SleepyWrap.com, and I think that it's the best that i've seen out there. besides the above, anytime sadie would get cranky, i would put her in it, and she would be asleep in just a few minutes! it was SO wonderful!! good luck! colds are no fun!

(i share this with you...because i didn't discover the greatness of wraps until my 3rd kid...wish i would have known sooner!!)
