All our Utah records transferred over and Brenden is now a part of the public school system here in Ohio. I told him he gets to meet new friends and have a new teacher...as well as play with some new toys.
When we arrive at Noon, the kids are all fed lunch in the classroom. (Then most of them line up at the sink after cleaning up to brush their teeth...In Utah, they were neither fed lunch nor directed to brush their teeth. But it serves alot of good for the kids here).
Now that the school year is further along, and they have placed all the kids, all 3 tables are full. (Kyleigh doesn't eat with them. She was just accompanying me on Brenden's first day of school).
Chocolate milk for lunch every day!!! What more could a kid ask for. This Ohio place must be with it.
The lady everyone calls Grandma on the left, and Brenden's 2 teachers on the right- Ms. R and Ms. J
They have circle time for reading on the rug, computers you can't see on the right, toys in the back, and a sand play area to the left of the garbage can on the left back wall. I still can't get Brenden to tell me what he does or learns each day, but every once in awhile he'll tell me: sand or paint or bikes. He seems to like his class and teachers. And the last time I picked him up, a girl sitting next to him asked for a hug goodbye, and when he did, the girl next to her asked for a hug, then the boy next to her and the boy next to him. That made me happy that he and his classmates were all getting along. Just about all a Momma cares about.
And once again, Kyleigh looses her best play pal for 4 days out of the week. At least now it's during her nap time so she hardly has time to notice that he's gone.
But it still gets lonely.
