Kyleigh was invited to a neighbor's birthday party, and once you walked in the door and saw pink and dress up princesses...you knew it was going to be good! The girls started out by making their own tea party hats. They had flowers, ribbon, butterflies and birds to choose from. Then, we gathered at the table for a very cute girly, tea party.
Kyleigh and the birthday girl both had their Merida dresses on. Everyone brought a dress from home if they wanted to dress up (it wasn't required, but if you give this girl the option, she'll usually take you up on it).
Pink cupcakes to sing happy birthday with. That's a perfect little girl dessert at a party...easier to for little hands and mouths to manage.
Then we went into the other room for some games.
The girls each got a couple wacks at the pinata and it took awhile for it to break...some of these girls were pretty dainty with a bat. Kyleigh observed the candy looting for awhile before jumping in for a few. (Had it been loaded with carrots and cucumbers, then she'd be shovin' for her share!)
A successful gathering!
Cute little girls and a really fun party. 6 out of the 8 girls below are in our Church ward. And only 1 of those 6 lives more than a few blocks away.
