Aunt Courtney who is incredibly patient with Brenden in teaching him how to blow kisses, say no (thanks Court), play with grass like a normal kid, say "Mu-ah" and kiss on the lips, and probably more that I don't know about. She's fun to have around.
B didn't like the grass at all, but after Trent and Court threw some on him he started getting used to it. Still kept one leg up though for some reason.
My "Superman"
Waiting in the backyard of my Grandma Kings for the party to get started. We were celebrating Uncle Robert and Aunt Kathys 50th Birthday that night.
Uncle Dewg and Aunt Krissy. Dewg was manning the ribs cooking and Krissy was helping out as well as fixing up her amazing Birthday cakes.
I think we were planning to cook ribs for about 150 people. Dad puts them in a slow roaster to cook till tender and just about done, then slaps on the Sweet Baby Rays sauce and cooks till perfection on the grill. This is the cooking trailer that Dad made and transported down to Phoenix for the party.

Now on to Utah.... heres the birthday cakes I made for Brenden' s party. Supposed to be a Basketball and a Football.

Tree also gave Brenden all those stuffed balls to play with. She always has the best, most personalized gifts.
Tree had a Birthday hat that even had lights and I think a song. (But to keep the hat on, someone had to have a hand on both of B's hands and snap a photo before he tore it off).
Brenden actually liked it better when it was on someone elses head instead of his.

...And this was about as messy as it got.
Had to try out Tree's gift. When unfolded, it has huge town-like streets and shops on one side with cars to drive on with and checkers on the other side. B liked climbing in the box best.

Trent decides to quit fighting Brenden in chewing everything and joins him. (Brenden also got "Skippy" that you can see in the right side. Laura and Sarah had a telephone on wheels that they named Skippy and it was their favorite toy, so they thoughtfully gave Brenden and his cousin who is 2 days older, Marcel, their very own "Skippy"). Brenden actually really likes that toy also. Laura and Sarah really knew what they were talking about! Thanks so much!!
