Snowmen in March?

We had a fairly big snowstorm roll in Monday, so the Idahoan got us all excited to go outside and build a snowman. We hadn't built one all winter long, so I guess this was our last chance.

While dinner was finishing up, this was Trent's idea of pumping Brenden up and getting him excited for snowmen.

I wouldn't step outside the car until all beanies were on, jackets zipped up, and boots tied. I savored the heat in the car for as long as possible, and little B looked like he wanted to join me:)

They were still 'preparing' for the snow. I can't wait until we don't have to get all the gear ready and wear layers upon layers to go to the park. We can just jump in the car, park, get out and play.

Trent and B starting the bottom ball of our snowman. B did like throwing the snow up in the air.

All done. Trent did 90% of the work, I did 8% and B did the remaining 2%. A team effort, albeit a lopsided team effort;)

Amazing that we had such a good amount of snow in March to build a pretty decent size snowman. Brenden was really done with the snow by this point. He was trying to escape.

Goodbye snowdude. You'll probably be gone tomorrow.
B was waiting for us by the car while we made the last 'two balls' of the snowman. That's the Vegas part in him!! Snow is good for a certain point, and then we need to go inside to warm up a little, drink hot chocolate to keep body warm for the next hour of snow play.

He was literally doing circles around the car waiting for us to finish with the snowdude and get in the car. Trent had to actually go up the hill to retrieve B to take the pictures next to the snowman.

Trent attacking B with the snowman ball. As Trent says in the video "He didn't quite get it". This kid didn't run away when something was coming to attack. He went right back at it. Good boy.
