At the end of September, Trent and I joined a family in our ward to their family cabin up near Sundance. Weather was great. Scenery was really great and we had lots of good food, company and games.
Nice to wake up to this:
Really nice trail. We were told that there was a guy who used to turn up the soil all along the trail and throw in some amazing wild flower seeds of all kinds and variety. It was a really cool and unique thing to be able to hike along. And since you have to have a code to get into this place up here, it was kept hidden and nice.
Couple of guys really happy to be in their element.

This reminded me of Tamarron in Colorado....and I can't wait to take Brenden and Kyleigh up there someday. So much for the kids to do up there. And Brenden wouldn't mind seeing a live coal locomotive.
This cute little girl would lead Brenden from one activity at the cabin to the next. And they were so inseparable that lunchtime had to be shared in the same seat.
She is the oldest of 4, so she is also great with babies. Too bad she's too young to babysit.
Our gracious hosts for the getaway. It was his birthday so we had cake and ice cream too.
Constant friends to play with, outdoor hikes, and sugar?! Brenden had a
really good time.
It was a beautiful place for a quick visit.
