Trent, B and I drove up to Soda for their Caribou County Fair and to visit the family. It was a good time. (The first several pics came from Rodger's camera).
Rod (Rodger's cousin), Eva (Rodger's aunt), and Rod's sister (sorry, Trent doesn't remember her name). Rod works on the farm just north of Soda. Behind them are some of their winning bushels.

The Clown. Did some pretty good shows. Trent said that one year he put a picture of Bill Clinton's face on top of the barrel that he was using as a shield against when the bulls attack.

The Queens and first attendants

Girls Barrel race

It was a good show.

Oops, maybe next time. Both Rodger and their next door neighbor, Keith, said that this year was exceptionally good. Alot of riders stayed on and put on a real nice show. I enjoyed it. This guy, not so much.

Single Roping.

Afterward, Rodger took Brenden out in the backyard and laid down in the grass. Trent and Mary could not believe it: Rodger sitting still for longer than 10 minutes and Brenden not running free all over the large yard.

They both had a good, relaxing time.

Trent showing me a few of his favorite childhood pastimes.

He did say it was a bit harder to stay up...to which I replied, "you're a few pounds heavier than at age 16, honey."

But he still 'has' it.
