Suns and Steph

Steph had her Bridal shower with the Bradley side of the family at John's Uncle Richard's house. It was really well done. Good company, good food and a nice way to help John and Steph start out on their life together. Unfortunately, somehow once all the people really started showing up, I stopped taking pictures, so I don't have any of the crowd that was there. Sorry Steph. Most of those that were there were from John's mother's side. She is one of 14 children so there is alot of family to get to know. My Mom flew into town for this occasion, our aunt Shari and cousin Natalie, who drove down from Logan to help Steph celebrate, were there to help represent Steph's side.

G-ma and B sharing a drink. On the day that Gma showed up, I showed Brenden some pictures of her and he got really big eyes, an excited expression on his face and started waving at the picture. He was happy when we finally got to pick Gma up from the airport.
Steph currently only has 1 nephew on her side (a niece arriving in a few months), but luckily she has 10 nieces and nephews (with another on the way) from John's side. She is a really good aunt and we're glad she decided on a guy who has already shown good signs of a potentially great uncle. Just ask Casey and Kamy's kids. They love it when Uncle John and "Uncle" Steph comes over.

Steph's future Uncle Richard. He told us some good stories of him and Betsey when they were kids. Guess there are alot of ways to have/make fun when there are 14 siblings.

Steph, John, and John's 2 cousins who were mainly responsible for putting on this bridal shower...and the really great food! It was my first time trying a crock pot cake. I loved it!

Sitting around visiting shortly before the others showed up.

B got some fun playtime in with Chesney's 2 cute kids. He couldn't quite get the slide down like they did.

The week before the shower, Steph, John, Ash, Cason, Trent and I were priviledged to attend a Suns game vs Jazz. This is Shaq shooting and making his free throw.

John was the only one not wearing a Suns shirt or their colors. We still admitted him to our group:)

Brenden came out of his room with one of his swimming diapers for Lake Powell, so put it on his head...and he made a fishy face.

Just another lesson I learned from a great teacher....

Un gran maestro:)
