Off to a new adventure? They sure find enough of those in their books I find constantly strewn all over the floor of Brenden's room.
They take turns with this chair and books more than they play with the toys downstairs. (She still has 1 shoe missing and a firm hold on the balloon).
" Help me, Boo. Boon [Balloon]" (She is always holding her pipit [piglet] wherever she goes. His neck is perfect to grab for little hands).
He shared his Thomas the Train birthday balloon with her.
She couldn't stand not being able to go up to the front of Church to sing with him today when he left our pew.
She has me lift her up to the window when his ride picks him up for Preschool to watch him drive away till she can't see him anymore.
He kisses her hand in the car on the way to Preschool when it's my turn to drive and she gets to come drop him off.
She SCREAMS "Boo! Boo!" (it's the closest she can get to Brenden) when he opens his door after he wakes up in the morning.
She took his book he was reading this morning, so we made her give it back, but then he just handed it right back to her.
She is more fearless than he is and will usually go down the tallest slide at the park before he gets the courage to do so.
He will give her some of his oatmeal from his own bowl and she will eat it, but if I give her her own bowl of oatmeal, she will not eat it.
They enjoy each others company. For the most part. Just make sure there are 2 train engines in the room, not 1.
I have just enjoyed what I've seen recently and wanted it recorded. Proof for later, if they ever change their minds...
But with these trends, that's not going to happen for awhile anyway.
