Trent went to U of Akron campus to buy some books. We tagged along for the ride. We met a 'sculpture' of Zippy the Kangaroo. (I guess when you have so much greenery in abundance who needs cement or concrete statues of your school mascot? Just use a bush and whack it into a Kangaroo. And the shirt that has a Kangaroo peaking up with the saying "Fear the Roo" just doesn't do it. Now, if they had something more fierce...like a Cougar or a Sun Devil...I could understand...but a Kangaroo????)
Everywhere Brenden went, Kyleigh followed.
They have a great Mens Soccer team. Won the 2010 National Championship. The Zips are good at something (sport-wise):

But that's just not as exciting as a good Football or Basketball game like last year:
But, this is home now, so we might as well be happy about being a Zip. (However, on any given gameday, our TV will be tuned to the West coast teams. Have no doubt).
