Vegas-swimming, orchard, discovery museum

Kids and I got to meet their cousin/my niece- baby Haley. She is such a sweet little thing. Very good baby and such a cute mixture of Court and Jared.

Sunshine, pool time with cousins, aunts, uncles and grandparents...life is pretty good. What more could a girl want? (A snow cone couldn't hurt....)

 All that swimming and cave building wears a kid out. Why not grab a towel and a tube?

At night, before tucking myself in bed, I went to check on the kids and found Kyleigh asleep like this:

We took a trip to the Discovery Museum to try to beat the heat. It was a really fun place...but maybe next time we probably shouldn't go to an orchard and sweat it out all morning walking the fields before running around the many levels this place has to offer. It was definitely nap time for all the kids when we got home.

Bama has a secret talent. She is a bona fide track maker. Just ask Kyleigh.  

Steph also has a not-so-secret talent. She's a fun aunty who plays pulleys with the kids.

Steph and Brenden's team obviously won. Maddy and Kyleigh need to put a little more muscle into their pulley.

Abby was the judge on who lifted the car maybe? 

Gilcrease Orchard. I think we picked tomatoes, peaches, onions and potatoes. And Grandma bought some type of peanut butter that I forget the name...but she says is very good on a PB&J.

 

It was so hot that there was always someone inside the car. And I'm not ashamed to say that I was one of those. Vegas summers are a constant battle to find ways to stay cool.

Got to see how grown up this little girl has gotten. She's a toddler and not a baby anymore. A real cuddler. 

Definition of "Man Cave"? (Is that why Kyleigh is barred from entering?)  :)

Kids are lucky to have Dads and Uncles who are so active and fun. Sometimes the Moms and Aunties can be boring as we just don't roughhouse the same way. 

 John and Jared took boogie boards and made their own wave pool for the kids. It was a hit.
